Bridge Technologies Products on Display at IBC2008

NEW PRODUCTS FOR IBC2008:

v3.7 software for Bridgetech's IP-Probes introduces even more distinct features for the complete range of IP-Probes and is provided as a free upgrade to existing IP-Probe owners. v 3.7 provides the ability to record transport streams (TS) into files on the IP-Probe, and recording can be triggered by alarms. The TR 101 290 analysis capability is extended, with further new functionality in the graphical user interface. TR 101 290 now provides full ATSC, PSIP, and DVB support for completely global operation. The real-time "sniffer" has also been enhanced and the protocol view now also provides a breakdown into unicast and multicast streams and the number of unicast streams present in the interface.
REPORTS by Bridgetech is an option for the VBC server system, containing full enterprise-level reporting capabilities for SLA compliance and proof-of-carriage documentation for service providers and telecoms. The reports can be individually output from the system from the last 24 hours and any period up to four years with system aggregation views and individual site views. Easy-to-understand graphical representation makes REPORTS a valuable tool for non-technical staff, and the optional trending display is excellent for evaluating engineering status of sites or systems.
Eii - External Integration Interface provides a comprehensive interface to all the measurements made in real time on the VideoBRIDGE series of IP-Probes, giving DigitalTV operators excellent investment protection. With full documentation of both the SNMP and xml interfacing capability, integrating the IP-Probes into any third-party system is uniquely simple and straightforward. Integrators can choose the level of details they want dynamically, and probe setup and configuration can be controlled from any external application.

The VB280 Content Extractor has been extended with freeze-frame detection in addition to the existing scrambling detection and decoding of MPEG2 and h264 SD or HD thumbnails.
