e-mediavision.com has a track record of developing
innovative market-leading solutions within the broadcast,
audio visual and security markets. By leveraging Mercury's
Cell-based development tools and multi-core expertise,
e-mediavision.com is now generating HD-ready products
that bring the power of the Cell processor to their
display and control solutions.
"The
Cell processor allows us to generate products that
support the latest HD standards while maintaining
the flexibility of a software-based solution,"
noted Kash Acharya, Managing Director of e-mediavision.com.
"Mercury middleware, tools and libraries have
supported rapid development and a robust product offering."
The first fruits of this development program will
be demonstrated at IBC on e-mediavision.com stand,
where the new addition to the award winning X-View
range, the X-View DPX-IP Multiviewer will be demonstrated.
The
X-View DPX-IP Multiviewer enables the direct decoding,
display and monitoring of multi channel, multi format
encoded video from the IP stream without having to
decode to base band video, as is the case with traditional
Multiviewers. The X-View Multiviewer is able to decode
in real time multi format encoded video in H264/AVC-10,
MPEG1, 2 & 4. The system is able to decode up
to 24 video channels of video and provides dual HD
DVI outputs.
