At the IBC in Amsterdam German audio specialist beyerdynamic introduces the new KE 900 ENG reveiver. This robust, portable UHF receiver, housed in a weatherproof aluminium housing has specially
designed for camera applications. The KE 900 features a switching bandwidth of 24 MHz and matches perfectly with the transmitters of the new Opus 900 wireless system. Via the Automatic Channel Targeting (ACT) function the receiver selects one interference-free frequency from 100 pre-programmed
UHF frequencies, which is transmitted via infrared to the appropriate pocket or handheld transmitter.

The receiver can be operated easily and intuitively via a new user interface. The LC display clearly indicates the battery status of the transmitter (5-stage), frequency/channel, squelch, AF and RF level. The LOCK function protects the system against faulty operation. The extensive accessories include adapter plates to connect the KE 900 to Sony or Ikegami camera slots directly, thus making it a universal tool. The receiver can powered via an external DC power supply or alternatively via a battery power adapter.
