SIDSA strengthens its position as a global MultiPlatform provider
August, 28th 2006. At IBC show'06 in Amsterdam, SIDSA strengthens its position as a global MultiPlatform provider. The company features all its Digital TV solutions and products targeted at all type of platforms. Sponsored by the DVB Group, SIDSA operates and provides the DVB-H mobile TV platform which will give live coverage to the IBC show.


SIDSA, the International provider of Global Solutions, Products and Services in the fields of digital TV, IPTV, mobile TV, conditional access systems and broadband, consolidates at the IBC show'06 as a leading technology provider in the International market.
The company will present its wide range of products and services at the show targeted at all type of platforms: DTT, IPTV, Mobile TV and Conditional Access systems.

Mobile TV
Following the successful roll-out in Italy of two DVB-H services in time for the FIFA World Cup and commercial services announced in Finland, Germany, the Russian Federation and the US, SIDSA will give a demonstration that DVB-H mobile TV is a present reality. Sponsored by the DVB Group (Digital Video Broadcasting), SIDSA will operate and provide a DVB-H platform during the show, using its POLAR PLUS platform, to live broadcast this important event.
At its Mobile Zone booth (M133) SIDSA will display LOREN TV, a complete solution for DVB-H in the terminal which includes the state-of-the-art LOREN chip and middleware to develop fast to market DVB-H applications such as a portable media player and plug and play devices. It will also show KeyFly + mobile, a Conditional Access system that allows the provision of added value services through mobile TV

Polar Plus Digital TV platforms
At SIDSA's 12,311 booth, the company will feature all of its Polar Plus products for DTT, IPTV, DVB-H platforms. Concerning Digital TV and Mobile TV, the company provides end-to-end solutions for launching mobile television and terrestrial services based on DVB-H, DVB-T: network infrastructure, headend and devices belong to SIDSA's mobile and DTT profile.
As for IPTV, SIDSA offers complete solutions for launching services over IP. Besides, SIDSA will release at IBC a new professional receiver-gateway enabled to receive encrypted services: Ether TV Common Interface board which is fully integrated to SIDSA's Polar Plus IPTV headend.
