The latest in content security solutions for digital TV from IRDETO at IBC 2006
(28/08/2006) At the IBC 2006 trade show, Irdeto, a global leader in content security, will be exhibiting the latest in content security solutions for digital TV, IPTV and mobile environments.


Irdeto will also be demonstrating the latest product developments at the stand :

  - Irdeto Digital TV: Content protection for digital TV - Irdeto will show its latest Digital TV solution highlighting content protection for HDTV as well as secure applications for the personal video recorder (PVR). The demonstrations will feature several of the latest set-top boxes from Irdeto partners and point out how operators can implement new business models to increase revenue per user.

- Irdeto IPTV: Content protection for next-generation video services - Irdeto will present an MPEG-4 HD IPTV demo and its SoftClient solution. Furthermore, Irdeto will show IPTV devices.

- Irdeto Mobile: Service and content protection for mobile broadcasting services - Irdeto will showcase its different customer deployments in South Korea (S-DMB used by TU Media), Germany (T-DMB used by Debitel) and South Africa (DVB-H used by MultiChoice). In addition, the content security specialist will display a range of mobile TV devices, its Conditional Access system and DRM for mobile. At stand 1.459, Irdeto will host a demo of a live DVB-H service. Moreover, Irdeto will show handsets at stand M244 based in the Mobile Zone.
